SCHEDULE(ss. 2 and 3)

PART IDescription of the Airport Reference Point

The airport reference point is a point determined by commencing at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 19 in the Outer Two Miles, in the Parish of Saint James; THENCE, Southerly along the Eastern boundary of said Lot 19, a distance of 2,000 feet; THENCE, Westerly at right angles to the said Eastern boundary of Lot 19, a distance of 1,000 feet.

PART IIDescription of the Outer Limits of Land

In the City of Winnipeg in the Province of Manitoba being in accordance with the Special Survey of said City and being all those lands contained within the following limits, namely;

COMMENCING at the point of intersection of the straight production northerly of the west boundary of Lot Two (2) in the Outer Two Miles of the Parish of Saint James with the south boundary of Section Twenty (20) Township Eleven (11) Range Two (2) East of the Principal Meridian;

THENCE along the following described boundaries of sections and parts of sections all in said township and range and their straight productions across intervening road allowances, in the order and direction described, that is,

westerly along the south boundary of said Section Twenty (20) to the south-west corner thereof,

northerly along the west boundary of said Section Twenty (20) and of the South Half of Section Twenty-nine (29) to the north-west corner of said South Half,

easterly along the north boundary of said South Half to the south-west corner of the North-West Quarter of Section Twenty-eight (28),

northerly along the west boundary of said Section Twenty-eight (28) to the north-west corner thereof,

easterly along the north boundaries of said Section Twenty-eight (28) of Section, Twenty-seven (27) and of the West Half of Section Twenty-six (26) to the north-east corner of said West Half,

southerly along the east boundary of said West Half to the north-west corner of the East Half of Section Twenty-three (23),

easterly along the north boundary of said Section Twenty-three (23) to the north-east corner thereof,

southerly along the east boundary of said Section Twenty-three (23) to the north-east corner of Section Fourteen (14);

THENCE easterly along the north boundary and its straight production westerly of Lot Thirty-five letter B (35B) in the Outer Two Miles of the Parish of Saint John to the north-east corner thereof;

THENCE in a straight line north-easterly to the north-west corner of Lot Thirty-five (35) in the Outer Two Miles of said parish;

THENCE south-easterly along the north boundary of said Lot Thirty-five (35) to the north-east corner thereof;

THENCE southerly along the east boundary of lots in the Outer Two Miles of said Parish of Saint John to the north-westerly limit of the right-of-way of the Canadian Pacific Railway Plan 374;

THENCE westerly and southerly along said limit of right-of-way and its production across intervening streets to the south limit of Wellington Avenue according to said Special Survey;

THENCE easterly along said south limit of Wellington Avenue to the west limit of Strathcona Street according to said Special Survey;

THENCE southerly along said west limit of Strathcona Street and its productions to the north limit of Ellice Avenue according to said Special Survey;

THENCE westerly along said north limit of Ellice Avenue to the west limit of said right-of-way;

THENCE southerly along said west limit of right-of-way to the north bank of the Assiniboine River;

THENCE westerly along said north bank to its intersection with the straight production northerly of the west limit of Park Boulevard Plan 7925;

THENCE southerly along said straight production across said river and along said west limit of Park Boulevard to the north limit of Corydon Avenue Plan 1336;

THENCE westerly along said north limit of Corydon Avenue Plans 1336 and 1777 and its straight productions to the west boundary of River Lot Thirty-three (33) of the Parish of Saint Charles;

THENCE northerly along said west boundary of River Lot Thirty-three (33) and its straight production northerly across the Assiniboine River to the north bank of said river;

THENCE westerly along said north bank to the west boundary of River Lot One Hundred and Twenty-two (122) of said Parish of Saint Charles;

THENCE northerly along said west boundary of said River Lot to the north limit of Portage Avenue Plan 547;

THENCE westerly along said north limit of Portage Avenue to the east limit of Cavalier Drive Plan 7583;

THENCE northerly along said east limit and its productions across intervening streets of Cavalier Drive Plans 7583, 8501 and 9226 to the south limit of Saskatchewan Avenue on said Plan 9226;

THENCE easterly along said south limit of Saskatchewan Avenue to the straight production southerly of said west boundary of Lot Two (2) in the Outer Two Miles of the Parish of Saint James;

THENCE northerly along said west boundary of Lot Two (2) and its straight productions to the point of commencement;

all of said plans being of record in the Winnipeg Land Titles Office, as said lands are shown within the outer limits coloured yellow on Department of Transport Winnipeg International Airport Zoning Plan No. E.1540.

PART IIIDescription of the Approach Surfaces

The approach surfaces, shown on Department of Transport Winnipeg International Airport Zoning Plan No. E.1540, are surfaces abutting each end of the strips associated with the runways designated 18L-36R, 13R-31L, 13L-31R, the 18R end of the strip associated with runway 18R-36L and the 25 end of the strip associated with runway 07-25 and are described as follows:

  • (a) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 18L,
  • (b) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 36R,
  • (c) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 13R,
  • (d) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 31L,

consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one foot measured vertically to 50 feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, 1,000 feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip, and 50,000 feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 8,100 feet from the projected centre line; and

  • (e) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 13L, and
  • (f) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 31R,

consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one foot measured vertically to 50 feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, 1,000 feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip, and 50,000 feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 8,000 feet from the projected centre line; and

  • (g) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 25,

consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one foot measured vertically to 50 feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, 200 feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip, and 10,000 feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 1,600 feet from the projected centre line; and

  • (h) 
    a surface abutting the end of the strip associated with runway approach 18R,

consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one foot measured vertically to 50 feet measured horizontally rising to an imaginary horizontal line drawn at right angles to the projected centre line of the strip, 200 feet measured vertically above the elevation at the end of the strip, and 10,000 feet measured horizontally from the end of the strip, the outer ends of the imaginary horizontal line being 2,000 feet from the projected centre line.

PART IVDescription of the Outer Surface

The outer surface, shown on Department of Transport Winnipeg International Airport Zoning Plan No. E.1540, is an imaginary surface located at a common plane established at a constant elevation of 150 feet above the assigned elevation of the airport reference point except where that common plane is less than 30 feet above the surface of the ground, the imaginary surface is located 30 feet above the surface of the ground.

PART VDescription of the Strips

The strips, shown on Department of Transport Winnipeg International Airport Zoning Plan No. E.1540, are described as follows:

  • (a) 
    the strip associated with runway 18L-36R is 1,200 feet in width, 600 feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and 13,600 feet in length; and
  • (b) 
    the strip associated with runway 13R-31L is 1,200 feet in width, 600 feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and 15,200 feet in length; and
  • (c) 
    the strip associated with runway 13L-31R is 1,000 feet in width, 500 feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and 13,700 feet in length; and
  • (d) 
    the strip associated with runway 07-25 is 1,200 feet in width, 600 feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and 5,600 feet in length; and
  • (e) 
    the strip associated with runway 18R-36L is 1,200 feet in width, 600 feet being on each side of the centre line of the runway and 4,800 feet in length.

PART VIDescription of Each Transitional Surface

Each transitional surface, shown on Department of Transport Winnipeg International Airport Zoning Plan No. E.1540, is a surface consisting of an inclined plane having a ratio of one foot measured vertically to seven feet measured horizontally at right angles to the centre line, and centre line produced of each strip and extending upward and outward from the lateral limits of each strip and its approach surfaces to an intersection with the outer surface or another transitional surface of an adjoining strip.
