Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under section 4 of the Canadian Sustainable Jobs ActFootnote a, effective May 1, 2026,
(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2024-851 of June 27, 2024Footnote b; and
(b) designates the Minister of Employment and Social Development, a member of the King’s Privy Council for Canada, to be the Minister for the purposes of the Canadian Sustainable Jobs ActFootnote a.
