Canada Lands Surveyors Regulations

Version of section 28 from 2006-03-22 to 2011-12-05:

  •  (1) A member of the Association whose licence has been revoked for the non-payment of any fee or levy specified in the by-laws or whose licence has lapsed for less than five years may apply for a new licence in accordance with subsection 26(1), except that the affidavits referred to in paragraph 26(1)(b) are not required to be submitted.

  • (2) A member of the Association whose licence has lapsed for five years or more may apply for a new licence in accordance with subsection 26(1), except that the affidavits referred to in paragraph 26(1)(b) shall describe the applicant’s surveying experience over the last five years.

  • (3) A member of the Association whose licence has been revoked for professional misconduct or incompetence by the Discipline Committee may apply in writing for a new licence by submitting to the Registrar an application in accordance with subsection 26(1).

  • (4) The Registrar shall issue a new licence if the application complies with the requirements of the Act and these Regulations and in the case of a member of the Association referred to in subsection (2), if the surveying experience is approved by the Board of Examiners.
