(<DefinedTermFr>Convention sur les armes chimiques</DefinedTermFr>)</Text></Definition><Definition lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009364" lims:id="1009364" generate-in-text="no"><Text><DefinedTermEn>Convention</DefinedTermEn> means the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations set out in Schedule III to the <XRefExternal reference-type="act" link="F-29.4">Foreign Missions and International Organizations Act</XRefExternal>. (<DefinedTermFr>Convention</DefinedTermFr>)</Text></Definition><Definition lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009365" lims:id="1009365" generate-in-text="no"><Text><DefinedTermEn>Organization</DefinedTermEn> means the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons established by Article VIII of the Chemical Weapons Convention. (<DefinedTermFr>Organisation</DefinedTermFr>)</Text></Definition></Section><Heading lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009366" lims:id="1009366" level="1"><TitleText>Privileges and Immunities</TitleText></Heading><Section lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:lastAmendedDate="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009367" lims:id="1009367"><Label>2</Label><Text>Inspectors, inspection assistants and observers, as experts performing missions for the Organization, shall have in Canada, to the extent required for the exercise of their functions in Canada, the privileges and immunities set out in Article VI of the Convention.</Text></Section><Heading lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009368" lims:id="1009368" level="1"><TitleText>Coming into Force</TitleText></Heading><Section lims:inforce-start-date="2006-03-22" lims:lastAmendedDate="2006-03-22" lims:fid="1009369" lims:id="1009369"><Label>3</Label><Text>This Order comes into force on September 23, 1997.</Text></Section></Body></Regulation>
