Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, effective August 6, 2021,pursuant to paragraph 2(a)a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Actb, transfers from the Department of Western Economic Diversification to the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada the control and supervision of that portion of the federal public administration in the Department of Western Economic Diversification known as the British Columbia Regional Unit; andS.C. 2003, c. 22, s. 207R.S., c. P-34orders that the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages is to preside over the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada.
