Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that it is in the public interest to do so, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 23(2.1)aof the Financial Administration Act, hereby makes the annexed Firearms Fees Remission Order.aS.C. 1991, c. 24, s. 7(2)

1Remission in the amount of $35 is hereby granted to any individual who made an application for a possession licence under the Firearms Act during the period beginning on December 1, 1999 and ending on June 9, 2000 and who paid $45 for the licence under column 2 of item 1 of Part 1 of Schedule I to the Firearms Fees Regulations.
