F-31.751988Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

Short title1This Act may be cited as the Fruit and Vegetable Customs Orders Validation Act.

Validation of orders2Notwithstanding any other Act, orders made in respect of imported fresh fruits and vegetables pursuant to paragraph 15(1)(a) of the Customs Tariff between January 1, 1972 and January 10, 1985 are declared to have been validly made and any customs duties collected on such fruits and vegetables pursuant to those orders are declared to have been validly collected.

Remission of duties3Customs duties imposed between June 28, 1984 and January 10, 1985 on imported fresh fruits and vegetables by orders made pursuant to paragraph 15(1)(a) of the Customs Tariff and not collected are hereby remitted.
