Order Respecting the Accelerated Reduction or Removal of Certain Customs Duties under the Customs Tariff as a Consequence of Concessions Granted Pursuant to the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 62Footnote * of the Customs TariffFootnote **, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order respecting the accelerated reduction or removal of certain customs duties under the Customs Tariff as a consequence of concessions granted pursuant to the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement.

Short Title

 This Order may be cited as the Customs Duties Accelerated Reduction Order, No. 6.

General

 The rates of customs duties on certain goods referred to in the Customs Tariff are reduced or removed in the manner set out in the schedule to this Order.

Coming into Force

 This Order comes into force on August 27, 1992.

  • 1 Schedule II to the Customs Tariff is amended by adding thereto, immediately after code 9688 thereof, the following codes:
